GiggleH2O is the brainchild of Luis Rodriguez, a cocktail historian captivated by the drinking culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is a longtime mixologist with a fascination for vintage cocktails and an interest in early 20th-century life and manners -- particularly as expressed in period literature and cinema.  

His training in history allows him to present cocktail culture within the wider social and historical context, while his flair and passion for vintage cocktails makes the past come alive.  Whether explaining why some cocktails are stirred and others shaken or showing how best to add bitters, his presentations are interesting, engaging, and always a lot of fun.

Luis has led presentations on cocktail culture for the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles and Art Deco Society of California, including See in You in C-U-B-A: Cocktails in Prohibition-Era Havana, Martinis with Nick and Nora, and the weekend event Bootlegging in Bakersfield.
